Logarithms are another Pre-Calc 12 topic where the gap shows:

logb(x) = y ⟺ bʸ = x

After Science 10, students choose from Grade 11 sciences — typically Life Sciences 11 (Biology), Chemistry 11, Physics 11, and Earth Sciences 11 — then decide which to continue into Grade 12.
